GLASS ARTISTS, Zoe Budwig

Here are a couple of artists I have been looking at in terms of materials. Thought they may be relevant to others too, who are looking at glass/ shadows.  

Dave Chihuly

Dave Chihuly's passion for glasshouses has grown into a series of exhibitions within botanical settings, which began in 2001. What particularly inspires me about Chihuly is the interesting sculptures/ installations he creates from glass. 

Effie Burns 

Effie Burns works with glass in architecture and for installations. She looks at how glass can change and enhance public spaces. In her architecture work she mainly uses glass for windows. 

Effie Burns works with glass in installation, it is interesting to see how the glass looks as a window piece and cut up in patterns.
