Carbon Obscura - Lloyd Godman

Carbon Obscura is an interactive light installation. It was created by environmental artist Lloyd Godman by taking a darkened space and perforating hanging fabric in the space with thousands of pinholes to let the light enter.

It was created using insulation paper, recycled carbon paper, fog and light.

I just love how much shadow it creates in the darkened space and how there is a large variation in shapes of shadows. I think this is a good idea for creating shadows and the perforated fabric looks really nice too!
