MY RESEACH... (LOIS NORMAN)

I have been all over Manchester visiting different parts of the city, even people watching in a coffee shop. The more I work and think about my project the better results I am going to get.
I have been to the imperial war museum I found the war letters and handwriting inspirational,

These images have influenced my work and ideas, in the wartime letters were received and sent much more aswell as having personal qualities imbedded into them. Handwriting can say a lot about a person... I would like to further these ideas

I have also visited Platt Hall costume gallery, the vintage garments had such a history about them, it’s almost imbedded into the fibres. Hand written letters hold the same qualities and people can read into the words on a page, I even imagine the person writing the letters..
